Devops Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Specialist for our company operating in software, R&D, and technology-based projects. The ideal candidate will manage both IT infrastructure and software-side platforms such as Docker & Kubernetes, and will also be well-versed in information security processes such as ISO 27001 and KVKK.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, managing, and securing Linux and Windows-based servers
• Creating Docker container environments and managing them on Kubernetes
• Planning and executing CI/CD processes for development, testing, and production environments
• Configuring firewalls, VPNs, and network security (preferably FortiGate)
• Deploying software developments to production and applying rollback scenarios when necessary
• Establishing, testing, and monitoring backup strategies
• Supporting the overall management and technical operations of the data center
• Ensuring system security and conducting improvement activities in compliance with ISO 27001 and KVKK

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS) and Windows Server systems
• Experience in managing live systems using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with firewall and network security configurations
• Knowledge of backup, system monitoring, rollback, and disaster recovery processes
• Understanding of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
• Technical knowledge of KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law) obligations

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox or VMware
• Familiarity with firewall systems like FortiGate or pfSense
• Experience in setting up and managing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
• Experience in deploying systems on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, DigitalOcean)
• Knowledge of Shell/Bash scripting or PowerShell
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation in English
